Make a significant contribution to the organisation and management of the team’s data to foster a data-driven approach to delivery & research. Support colleagues in the Data & Evaluation sub-team with WP data management, adhering to wider External Relations data strategies. Conduct data analysis and research to support WP team delivery and performance.

Work with the WP Developer & Analyst, and with each sub-team, to ensure these capture all relevant information required for each element of the University’s WP provision. Ensure relevant data collected on other platforms, e.g., MyCampus, is successfully migrated to the WP database.

4. Support each sub-team of WP as required by maintaining existing, automated procedures for various labour-intensive tasks, e.g., registrations, the processing (submission to return) of various assignments across multiple WP programmes, and the collection of attendance & performance data. Support the WP Developer & Analyst to identify extra functionality required by colleagues across WP.

5. Work across the WP sub-teams and help implement best practice and standards to ensure service excellence and informed decision-making. Share expertise and knowledge by supporting colleagues in their use of the database.

6. Learn, manage, and use existing and new technologies as they are introduced to further enhance analytics capabilities and support colleagues in doing so. Keep knowledge and skills up to date to ensure best practice and currency of provision in data storage and use. Share these knowledge, skills and capabilities across WP and the broader External Relations (ER) team.

7. Build and maintain sectoral knowledge required for the role, including operational knowledge of UofG WP programmes and up-to-date knowledge of WP sectoral developments within Scotland and the UK.

8. Work with Data & Evaluation colleagues on the provision of data and analysis for reporting for the WP team, helping to ensure high and consistent standards of evaluation. Contribute to producing annual reports of UofG WP activity.
